Six Scents is a limited-edition collection of fragrances. Each series consists of six scents, with each scent developed by a prominent designer and perfumer to help raise money for a deserving charity. The charities benefitted are Designers Against Aids and War Child International. ”The collection represents a global gamut of contemporary views on creativity, culture, consciousness and collectivity.” The creative masters behind it all is Kaya Sorhaindo and Joseph Quartana. They have impeccable taste in design, fashion, and music. Kaya and I have a mutual love for monochrome aesthetics and I’m always lookin’ forward to his fresh garb.
We’re super excited to feature the full Series 1 and Series 2 at Pop-up Panda (((thanks Marc & Kaya)))! The designers of 1 include: Alexandre Herchcovitch, Bernard Willhelm, Jeremy Scott, Preen, Gareth Pugh, and Cosmic Wonder Light Source. Series 2 central theme is nature, with contemplative titles…my fav is “Solar Donkey Power.” Designers involved are Philip Lim, Henrik Vibskov, Henry Holland, Toga, Damir Doma, and Richard Nicoll. Brilliantly put together and beautifully packaged! This is more than just a fragrance, you might say it’s art in totality…each bottle is accompanied by a distinctive story on what inspired the fragrance- told through vivid imagery, literature, and video.
All the best to them at Art Basel for their Series 3 launch event at The Standard.
